F/T Warehouse Worker - Mississauga

TIPS Personnel is currently looking for the newest long term, full time member of our family to join a tight nit warehouse in Mississauga. We are looking for self-starters, that thrive in small team environments as well as working independently. We are looking for those with experience in warehousing who will be comfortable jumping into things and hitting the ground running.

This position is flexible in the sense of we require those who are able to wear many different hats and assist in many different roles in the warehouse. We are hoping for those able to aid in shipping and receiving departments, as well as assembly, picking, packing, etc. within a metal fabrication warehouse.

 

We are looking for those with experience, but most importantly we are looking for those with an attitude for success. This is an upbeat warehouse where everyone enjoys their job! Job Tasks:

  • Receiving orders, stocking product

  • Packing products and preparing shipments

  • Ensuring shipments are arranged appropriately

  • Preform regular cycle counts

  • Ensure materials put away properly through the part numbers

  • Ensure that work space is neat and tidy at all times

  • Able to assist other team members where needed

 

Requirements:

  • High school or equivalent

  • Immaculate attention to detail

  • Fluent in English

  • Able to perform simple mathematic equations

  • A good, go-getter attitude

  • Willingness to learn

  • Knowledge of using UPS, Purolator and independent couriers

  • Knowledge of

    • Shipping processes (critical)

    • Receiving product

    • Picking orders

    • Cycle counting

    • Warehouse housekeeping

Shifts are Monday to Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
