Set-up, operate (program in Mazatrol, Mazak conversational programming), and maintain state-of-the-art CNC Mazak lathe and mill equipment
Read and interpret blueprints and specifications
Track your job time and quantities produced
Maintain adequate machine tool and support tool requirements
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Manage your work flow and be conscientious of efficiency and quality
5+ years of experience in a metal working and machining environment
Experience with CNC conversational or “G” code programming
Understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerance as well as the necessary procedures to produce a quality part.
Proficient in micrometer and calliper gauge usage
Detail oriented and meticulous
Punctual & reliable and possess a strong work ethic
Positive attitude and desire to contribute is mandatory
Ability to stand for the duration of your shift
This position requires a self-starter who enjoys a fair amount of autonomy but is accountable and responsible for their work.
