TIPS Personnel is currently looking for awesome men and women to join our asbestos removal team. We have various different projects happening all around the city of Calgary, and we are looking for new team members to join us today!

Job Description: 
Workers will be tearing down walls, doors, ceilings etc. and removing asbestos. We also are working on scissor lifts to remove asbestos from the overhead. 

-Fully certified asbestos removal ticket
-Minimum 3 months experience 
-Clean abstract 
-Able to lift 50+ lbs 
-Ability to bend, squat, lift and perform repetitive motions
-Valid fall arrest and scissor lift tickets (asset for overhead projects)

-Full time for the remainder of summer
- Varying from 8 - 16 hour shifts

*Starting wage is between $20 and $24 an hour.

Man Lifted Certified Positions Out Of Town!

We are looking for reliable, smart, ambitious people to join our team for a 2+ week project in Brandon, Manitoba. We are looking for awesome people who are man lift certified and have the experience to back it up! Workers will be helping erect a steel structure inside of a facility. Workers should expect full 8 hour days, sometimes more, depending on the busyness of the project.


-Minimum 2 years’ experience using a man lift

-Valid man lift certification

-Construction experience is an asset

-Fire retardant coveralls

-Must not be scared of heights


  • Monday to Friday, some weekend work if needed

  • 8 + hour days

*Wage is $18 an hour*

Waterjet CNC Operator

We are currently looking for awesome machine operator to join our metal fabrication warehouse. We are in need of an awesome Waterjet CNC operator, with the knowledge and experience with the machine. We specialize in both custom and standard fabrication designs. We never turn a job away and we enjoy the challenge of the task at hand. We are looking for the next family member to join our warehouse, who can add their awesome thoughts and ideas to the team.

Job Description:

·         Using the Waterjet CNC machine to properly cut the metal into the ordered design

·         Programming the machine

·         Cleaning and maintaining the machinery

·         Properly and carefully package finished products


·         Able to program and run the Waterjet CNC machine

·         Able to load and unload materials into the machine

·         Physically fit, able to lift, bend, squat, etc.

·         Able to complete proper paperwork and able to enter in the computer system

  • Set-up, operate (program in Mazatrol, Mazak conversational programming), and maintain state-of-the-art CNC Mazak lathe and mill equipment

  • Read and interpret blueprints and specifications

  • 5+ years of experience in a metal working and machining environment
